About YITS
Yogananda Institute of Technology & Science (YITS) is established by Yogananda Educational Society (YES) in the famous temple town of Lord Sri Venkteswara, Tirupati.  It Spreads over a sprawling area of 16.00 acres abutting Chennai – Bangalore NH 205, at a distance of 3 km from Tirupati International Airport and 3 km away from Renigunta Railway Junction. Two building with four floors each are constructed with number of laboratories, e class room, seminar halls.   YITS will impart futuristic and comprehensive education of global standards to the students with a high sense of discipline in a serene and invigorating environment, thereby contributing to the development of India as a Knowledge Society.

            The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi & affiliated to Jawaharalal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur.  The institute offers six Engineering undergraduate courses viz. Civil Engineering (CE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics engineering (EEE), Information Technology (IT) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) along with Master of Business Administration (MBA).  The institute is firmly committed in getting itself recognized with NBA.


         The college has well qualified and dedicated teaching staff in all the departments.  Well equipped laboratories with state of the art equipment and Pentium IV Computers with TFT monitors having LAN facility, High –speed Internet Lab.  All the laboratories are equipped fully and a 62.5 KVA generator is present to give uninterrupted power supply.  A 24-hr RO treated mineral water supply plant ensures good quality of water in the campus. Air conditioned seminar halls, spacious class rooms.
Technical lectures are arranged by inviting faculty from IITs and reputed Universities along with the experts from the industries.  Technical quizzes, seminars and communication development programmes are conducted, which go in a long way in helping the students to get placed in dream firms.

Digital library was inaugurated by Prof. B. Krishna Gandhi, Vice-chancellor of JNTU, Anantapur which possesses nearly 12, 000 volumes of books and around 2000 titles along with National and International Journals 12 for each Branch and 24 for MBA Department.  Our Digital Library was provided with internet facility.

Well furnished separate hostels for boys and girls add to the existing facilities. The girls hostel is housed on the fourth floor of the new building inside the campus.  Safety measures are taken.  Boys hostel is located at the entrance of the college premises.


  The college provides excellent transport facilities with its own hi-tech display buses.  A fleet of buses are provided from different areas in and around Tirupati, Sri kalahasti and Renigunta to help the students in reaching the college and back home.
Hygienic, spacious and will ventilated canteen which accommodates 250 students, is established inside the campus. It provides nutritious, delicious food and beverages including snacks, coffee, tea etc., which are served for both the staff and student.

To strive for continual improvement of student pass outs by analysing result.
To strive for 30% of students in getting distinction from the pass outs of each branch, and will be reviewed once after getting results.
To maintain studen satisfaction level always above 80% & will be reviewed before every semester examination.
To provide minimum of 10 days training to all staff members & will be reviwed once in the begining of every academic year.
To strive for placements from each department by 75% from the final year pass out & will be reviewed after getting placement information.
To improve social responsibility in students, by imparting moral and ethical values by adopting ISO 9001-2008 standards.


Chairman's Desk

Mr. D. Mohan Reddy, Secretary and Chairman, Yogananda Institute of Technology & Science, is a great Educationalist and a visionary who started the college with a great vision to cater to the educational needs of students hailing from rural and backward areas of Rayalaseema region.

Mr. D. Mohan Reddy has carved a niche for himself as a social worker and humanist who has great concern for the rural poor in this region. His services as a socialist need to be appreciated as scores of students in the B.Tech courses of this college belong to the lowest strata of the society belonging to S.C, S.T and other backward communities. It is a matter of elation that Mr. D. Mohan Reddy does not compromise in QUALITY and the best efforts are made by him to impart quality technical educational in this institute.

The main vision of Mr. Reddy is to produce ethically strong and technically sound Engineers and Managers to serve Mother India. Mr. D. Mohan Reddy invited top Professors while selecting the faculty of the institute under his able leadership and with definitely make rapid strides in becoming one of among the top premier institutes in INDIA.

Central Library

The  Library with attached digital library at YITS contains more than 15,000 volumes of classified textbooks and reference books.Educational CD’s Are well as a sizeable number of research journals and Magazines are available in the reading room for the enhancement of knowledge of the students .The college subsribes to several National and international journals .It offers a variety of attractive space for study and research for over 200 students at a time .There is a provision for workstations, a copier/ printer /scanner. The Library is open to the students 24 hours a day 7 Days a week


Residential Hostel

Hostel facilities are exemplary at YITS.Students coming form different parts of the country and abroad feel at homely in the hostel .cool green .pleasant ambience with separate residential Facilities for boys and girls is provided in the campus .The hostel can accommodate around 600 boys and 300 girls .Wardens are local guardians who act a guides and give moral support to the Residents. Safety and security of the students has been entrusted to a  professional security agency  .Medical assistance is also available round the clock to the residents.





Drinking Water
The campus of YITS is provided with RO –UV treated drinking Water Supplied through water coolers in all the floors of the college Campus. The campus has ensured 24 Hours of un-interrupted supply of power through a 62.5 KVA Generator that has been installed in the campus
